Privacy Policy

SocialCelebrity and its affiliates respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

The Information We Collect

SocialCelebrity collects several types of information from and about users of our Services, including:

Your Personal Information (PI) — Information that can be associated with a specific person and could be used to identify that person, whether from that data or from the data and other information that we have or are likely to have access to. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been made anonymous or aggregated so that it can no longer be used to identify a specific person.

Account information — Your full name, email address, location, password, gender, mobile phone number, and profile picture that will be publicly displayed as part of your account profile.

Your preferences — Settings such as time zone and language.

Your content — Information you provide as influencers in our Services, including age, gender, Influence Category, Influence Location, and reviews given to you by brands.

Social Accounts — We collect information from social media accounts you connect with us, such as Page Likes, followers count, likes, dislikes, comment count, video views, and other metrics.

Your communications — Communications between you and brands, and influencer work sent to you from brands.

Bank/Transaction information — Transactions made to you by brands and your bank information for payment processing.

Automatic Data Collection

We may automatically collect certain information about devices you use to access the Services:

Usage information — Details of your use of our Services, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use.

Device information — Information about your computer, Internet connection, and mobile device, including your IP address, operating systems, platforms, browser type, device type, and unique device identifiers.

Location information — Our applications collect real-time information about the location of your device, as permitted by you.

Mobile device IDs — Unique mobile device identifiers (e.g., IDFA or other device IDs on Apple devices) to recognize you, store your preferences, and track your use of our applications.

Application presence — If you use the SocialCelebrity application, we may collect information about the presence, absence, or details pertaining to other applications on your mobile phone.

Google API Services User Data Policy

SocialCelebrity's use of YouTube Channel information received from the Google API will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirement.

We only request access to data that is necessary for the features you use, and we do not sell or transfer your Google user data to third parties for advertising purposes.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We, and third parties with whom we partner, may use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, mobile device IDs, and similar technologies to collect and store information about your use of the Services.

Cookies — Small text files stored on your computer that enable us to recognize you. Cookies may be persistent or stored only during an individual session.

Pixel tags — Tiny graphics with a unique identifier, embedded invisibly on a webpage, used to count or track activity on a webpage or ad impressions or clicks, and to access cookies stored on users' computers.

Most browsers are set to automatically allow cookies. You can set your browser to block third-party cookies or all cookies, but doing so may interfere with certain functionality on the Services. By using our Services with your browser set to accept cookies, you are consenting to our use of cookies in the manner described in this section.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for a variety of purposes, including to:

  • Show your profile to brands who want to collaborate with you
  • Use your social account statistics to calculate your influence rate
  • Understand our users and improve the content and features of our Services
  • Process and complete your transactions, and make special offers
  • Administer our Services and diagnose technical problems
  • Generate and review reports and data about our user base and Service usage patterns
  • Provide you with customer support
  • Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection
  • Allow you to participate in interactive features offered through our Services
  • No sensitive information such as bank details and transaction history will be shown publicly.

    How We Share Your Information

    We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide in the following ways:

    To our subsidiaries and affiliates — Entities under common ownership or control of our ultimate parent company SocialCelebrity.

    To brands — To bring more influence work to you. We show your profile information to brands; the information you choose to share with brands, such as your address in private chat for collaboration work.

    Legal purposes — When we believe in good faith that sharing is reasonably necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, or to comply with legal process.

    With your consent — We may share your information in any other circumstances where we have your explicit consent.

    Payment information — By submitting your credit or debit card account information through our Services, you expressly consent to the sharing of your information with us. This information will not be visible to brands.

    Your Choices

    We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us:

    Cookie controls — You can set your browser or mobile device to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of our Services may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

    Communication preferences — When you sign up for an account, you are opting in to receive emails from brands connected to SocialCelebrity and from SocialCelebrity itself. You can manage your email preferences and follow the "unsubscribe" instructions in commercial email messages. Note that you cannot opt out of receiving certain administrative, service, or legal communications.

    We do not share your personal information with any advertising agency.

    Reviewing, Changing, or Deleting Your Information

    If you would like to review, change, or delete personal information we have collected from you, or permanently delete your account, please use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page, or contact the SocialCelebrity Data Protection Officer (DPO).

    If you delete your User Contributions from our websites, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied within brands' apps. Proper access and use of information provided on our websites, including User Contributions, is governed by our use policy.

    We will take reasonable steps to accurately record the personal information that you provide to us and any subsequent updates. We encourage you to review, update, and correct the personal information that we maintain about you.

    Security

    We have implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access to your information and to maintain data security. These safeguards take into account the sensitivity of the information that we collect, process, and store, and the current state of technology.

    We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Third-party service providers for payment gateway and payment processing are validated as compliant with the payment card industry standard (PCI compliant service providers).

    You play an important role in keeping your personal information secure. Do not share your username, password, or other security information for your SocialCelebrity account with anyone.

    Permissible Age

    The Services are not intended for users under the age of 13, unless permitted under applicable local laws. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from users under the Permissible Age or market to or solicit information from anyone under the Permissible Age.

    If we become aware that a person submitting personal information is under the Permissible Age, we will delete the account and any related information as soon as possible. If you believe we might have any information from or about a user under the Permissible Age, please contact us at help@socialcelebrity.app.

    Data Retention and Account Termination

    You can close your account by emailing us your full identity and your consent to remove your account. We will remove your social account from view and/or dissociate them from your account profile, but we may retain information about you for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy unless prohibited by law.

    Thereafter, we will either delete your personal information or de-identify it so that it is anonymous and not attributed to your identity.

    All information related to your social account will be removed immediately when you remove or log out of the SocialCelebrity app. No information will be stored related to logged-out accounts.

    Changes to This Privacy Policy

    We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our data collection and use practices, the features of our services, or advances in technology. Please check this page periodically for changes.

    Use of information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the changes here. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will constitute your consent and acceptance of those changes.
